Big Bash League 2017-18: Approaching milestones
Approaching milestones of the players to look out for in the 7th edition of the Big Bash League.

The Big Bash League is into its 7th edition starting from December 19th in the absence of the country’s top cricketers as always due to the conflict with their international calendar in the summer. The league has had many players including the overseas players bossing in the six completed editions tournament so far and would be witnessing them reach new milestones in their BBL careers.
Approaching milestones of the players to look out for in the 7th edition of the Big Bash League:
43 – Wickets Cameron Boyce bagged in the 36 BBL games he has played so far. He needs seven more wickets to complete 50 wickets in this tournament.
45 – Jason Behrendorff picked up 45 wickets in just 32 games he played in the BBL with all of them coming for Perth Scorchers. He needs five more wickets to complete 50 wickets in the BBL and become the first player to take 50 BBL wickets for a team. Only Brad Hogg (Perth) picked up more wickets for a team in the BBL than Behrendorff.
46 – Number of wickets for Clint McKay in the 40 BBL matches he played for Melbourne Stars and Sydney Thunder. He needs four more wickets for completing 50 BBL wickets. Only Ben Laughlin (69), Brad Hogg (54) and Sean Abbott (50) picked up 50 wickets in the BBL so far.
884 – Runs Kevin Pietersen scored in the BBL all while playing for the Melbourne Stars team in only 25 matches. He needs another 116 runs to complete 1000 BBL runs and become the 2nd player after Luke Wright with this milestone for Melbourne Stars.
935 – George Bailey aggregated 935 runs in 39 innings in the BBL while representing Melbourne Stars and Hobart Hurricanes. He needs 65 more runs to complete 1000 runs in this tournament.
945 – Runs Michael Klinger scored in the BBL while playing for Perth Scorchers. He needs 55 more runs to become the 2nd player after Shaun Marsh with 1000 BBL runs for the Perth franchise. Klinger is the leading run-getter in the history of the BBL with 1608 runs on his name in the 51 innings.
986 – Michael Lumb scored 986 runs in his BBL career in 42 innings. He needs 14 more runs to become the 3rd player from Sydney Sixers with 1000 runs in the BBL.
