The Comilla Victorians and Rangpur Riders are undoubtedly two of the best teams in the ongoing Bangladesh Premier League (BPL). The Victorians are on a four-match streak and are high on confidence. In their last match, the Imrul Kayes-captained won a cliffhanger against the Dhaka Dynamites at the Sher-E-Bangla National Stadium that also showed that they can hold their nerve under pressure.
The Riders are also in decent form having won seven out of their 11 matches and are second in the points table. They had an indifferent start to the tournament and languished at the bottom of the table. To their fortune, they picked themesleves up in the knick of time. Both Victorians and the Riders are vying for the top two spots and eight victories in the league stage would most likely ensure that.
The 41st match of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) 2019 will be played between Comilla Victorians and Rangpur Riders at Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur, Dhaka.
The match starts at 1:30 PM local time (7:30 AM GMT) (1:00 PM IST).
This game will be telecasted live on D Sport in India.
The pitch in Dhaka has behaved differently. Batsmen have been able to play the big shots consistently. The spinners have also got assistance and even the pacers have had their say. Yesterday’s afternnon match was a witness to a low-scoring thriller between Dhaka and Comilla.
