Dhaka Dynamites began the tournament with four consecutive victories and had five wins from their first six matches at a stage. Since then, the Dynamites couldn’t sneak in a win and now stand in a position where they have to win their last match at any cost to make it to the playoffs. The Shakib Al Hasan-led team lost each of their last five matches including three of them by narrow margins – 1 run, 11 runs and 7 runs.
They will now take on the Khulna Titans in the final league match of the tournament. The Khulna are fixed to the bottom of the table having won only two of their 11 matches. A victory in this game might not do any good for Khulna but it could help the Rajshahi Kings for making it to the final four. The Rajshahi currently stand ahead of Dynamites with 12 points coming from six wins. However, the hosts have an upper hand due to their NRR.
The 42nd match of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) 2019 will be played between Dhaka Dynamites and Khulna Titans at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur, Dhaka.
The match starts at 6:30 PM local time (12:30 PM GMT) (6:00 PM IST).
This game will be telecasted live on D Sport in India.
Dhaka has been the most interesting and irritating pitch in this tournament. The pitch for the night match usually plays opposite to that of the game during the day.

Injury and Availability Updates:
Upul Tharanga joined Dhaka Dynamites after being part of the Sri Lanka A squad against the Ireland A.
Rubel Hossain seemed to have a back issue during the Friday’s match but is expected to get fit.
After a successful series for Sri Lanka A with the bat, Upul Tharanga got a chance to open for the Dhaka Dynamites. He aggregated 329 runs across the five matches with two centuries and a fifty. Tharanga scored those at a strike-rate of 99. Dhaka could require him in the crucial match given his form.
Captain and Vice-Captain Selection:
First preference – Brendan Taylor, Shakib Al Hasan, Andre Russell
Vice-captain options – Junaid Siddique, Sunil Narine, Mahmudullah
Alternatives – Carlos Brathwaite, Rony Talukdar
Playing XI #1 for Head to Head/Small Leagues:
Keeper – Brendan Taylor (C)
Batters – Junaid Siddique, Mizanur Rahman, Rony Talukdar
All-Rounders – Shakib Al Hasan (VC), Mahmudullah, Andre Russell
Bowlers – Junaid Khan, Taijul Islam, Rubel Hossain, Shuvagata Hom
Playing XI #2 for Grand Leagues/Mega Leagues:
Keeper – Brendan Taylor
Batters – Junaid Siddique, Kieron Pollard, Mizanur Rahman, Rony Talukdar
All-Rounders – Shakib Al Hasan (C), Carlos Brathwaite, Sunil Narine (VC)
Bowlers – Taijul Islam, Shariful Islam, Shuvagata Hom
A long thought process is needed to select three from the all-rounders. Shakib Al Hasan will be a direct pick and so has to be Andre Russell. Sunil Narine has been inconsistent and is par on with Mahmudullah. It is always a guessing game in Khulna Titans regarding whom they will play among Brathwaite and Wiese.
The Dhaka Dynamites are expected to bring an end to their losing streak and make it to the playoffs.
