The 16th game of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2019 will be played between Jamaica Tallawahs and St Kitts and Nevis Patriots at the Sabina Park in Kingston, Jamaica.
The match starts at 7:00 PM local time (12:00 AM GMT) (5:30 AM IST – 20th September)

Jamaica Tallawahs misery in the CPL 2019 continued as they have lost five of their six matches thus far. The joy of registering their first win of the season didn’t last long as they were defeated by Guyana Amazon Warriors by a huge 81-run margin. The return of Andre Russell couldn’t save Tallawahs despite him picking up two wickets and scored 40; the joint highest individual score for Jamaica.
In a do-or-die situation, the Tallawahs will host St Kitts and Nevis Patriots on Thursday night. This will be the last of the five home matches of Jamaica which they played on a stretch. The SKN Patriots are fresh of handing first defeat to the defending champions Trinbago Knight Riders. Their skipper Carlos Brathwaite produced a perfect all-round match that extended into Super Over which they won by 13 runs.
The Sabina Park could receive rain during the afternoon and evening but not much chances of rain from 7 PM which is the scheduled start of play.
All the three matches played in the night during this tournament at Sabina Park have been high-scoring ones. This meant 200 is a minimum score during the night matches here to win while batting first.
Average first innings score: 189 (CPL matches since 2017)

Andre Russell returned to the playing XI of the Jamaica Tallawahs.

Andre Russell returned with a good all-round performance but couldn’t finish on winning side. The inform Evin Lewis and Laurie Evans hold the key for the Patriots. Captain and Vice-Captain Selection:
Captain – Glenn Phillips, Andre Russell, Evin Lewis
Vice-Captain – Chadwick Walton, Carlos Brathwaite, Laurie Evans
Glenn Phillips has been quite consistent in the matches at the Sabina Park. He is a safe option as captain or vice-captain.
Suggested Playing XI No.1 for Fantasy Cricket:
Keeper – Glenn Phillips (C)
Batters – Evin Lewis, S Brookes, Laurie Evans, Chadwick Walton
All-Rounders – Fabian Allen, Andre Russell, Carlos Brathwaite (VC)
Bowlers – Jade Dernbach, Ramaal Lewis, Sheldon Cottrell

Carlos Brathwaite has hardly performed in the last 12 months and could backfire if he trusted as captain basis on his last match’s performance. Chris Gayle raced to a hundred over the SKN Patriots in the previous meeting but things might change with Sheldon Cottrell in the side.
Jamaica Tallawahs could edge past the Patriots with Andre Russell back in the XI.
