The 21st match of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2019 will be played between St Lucia Zouks and St Kitts and Nevis Patriots at the Daren Sammy National Cricket Stadium in St Lucia
The match starts at 6:00 PM local time (Sep 24); 10:00 PM GMT (Sep 24); 3:30 AM IST (Sep 25). This tournament will be live on Star Sports 2 and Star Sports 2 HD in India. Live streaming is available on Hotstar.
As the Caribbean Premier League moves towards the business stage of the tournament, the 21st match will see St Lucia Zouks play hosts to St Kitts and Nevis Patriots. After four defeats in six matches, Zouks find themselves languishing at the bottom of the pile. Their last game was washed out due to rain and the Sammy-led unit will hope they can address their fledgling campaign with a resounding performance.
It wouldn’t be easy though! St Kitts and Nevis Patriots are in top-notch form in this tournament courtesy four wins. The last time these two sides met, Akeem Jordan’s 4-33 and a 30-ball-65 by Evin Lewis were the cornerstones of the Patriots six-wicket win. Will it happen again? Or will Daren Sammy’s side achieve parity?
After a rather wet past few days at the CPL, we might finally get some sunshine on Tuesday. As per the weather report, it is expected to be a beautiful day at St Lucia with temperatures hovering around 26-27 degrees and humidity at 88 percent.
The pitch at St Lucia traditionally has been a batting paradise, and the chasing has always enjoyed batting last here. Much of the same can be expected today.
Average first innings score: 137 (In 21 T20Is)
Record of chasing teams: Won – 12, Lost – 9
