Match Details:

Match 30 of the Caribbean Premier League 2019 between Guyana Amazon Warriors and Trinbago Knight Riders will be hosted by Providence Ground, Guyana.

The match starts at 8:00 PM local time (Oct 4); 12:00 PM GMT (Oct 4); 5:30 AM IST (Oct 5). This tournament will be live on Star Sports 2 and Star Sports 2 HD in India. Live streaming is available on Hotstar.

In the final league game of CPL 2019, table-toppers Guyana Amazon Warriors play hosts to the defending champions, Trinbago Knight Riders at the Providence Stadium. Both teams started the season with four consecutive wins each. But only the Guyana Amazon Warriors have continued that run. Trinbago Knight Riders are currently in the middle of a losing run which saw them lose back to back matches against Guyana and Barbados. While Guyana is already assured of a top-two finish, a win at the Providence Stadium could see TKR slot into the second place.

The last time these two teams met, Chanderpaul Hemraj and Romario Shephard led the way for a Guyanese win inspite of Kieron Pollard’s whirlwind knock towards the end of the game. While Guyana looks to sustain its momentum heading into the playoffs, it is a must-win game for the defending champions, who possess some of the best players in the world.

Weather Condition/Report:

Clear weather is on the cards for this game with a no chance of rain interrupting the game. According to AccuWeather, humid conditions are expected with a humidity percentage around the 70-run mark. The temperatures should hover between 28 and 30 degrees Celsius during the course of the match.

Pitch Condition/Report:

Although the pitch at the Providence Ground is a good one to bat on, spin should have the final say in the outcome of the game. Pacers will revert to change of pace more often than not with the pitch being a touch slow. With the shorter boundaries coming into play, an even contest between bat and ball awaits.

Average first innings score: 163 ( 3 CPL 2019 Matches at Providence Ground)

Kieron Pollard has been bowling a couple of overs on a consistent basis in CPL 2019. With the pitch slightly on the slower side, expect the TKR captain to bring home a good number of fantasy points.

Spinners are a safe choice for this game with the likes of Chris Green and Khary Pierre available for a reasonable 8.5 credits each.
