The cricketing trends on social media today revolved around a number of events and the fraternity was busy tweeting about the same. The Indian team will play the third and final ODI of the series on Wednesday against the Windies. Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav were chilling at the beach ahead of the game and the former posted a picture. Chahal is yet to play a game in the series while Kuldeep will stay after the ODI as well as he is a part of the Test squad too.

Shubman Gill posted the picture of himself with the trophy after winning the three-match unofficial Test series against the Windies A. He was one of the shining lights for the visiting team on the tour and also won the Man of the Series award in the unofficial five-match ODI series. Gill also smacked a double century in the final four-day game and hogged the limelight after being ignored for the senior team across all the formats.

Women’s Cricket was officially included in the Birmingham Commonwealth Games in 2022 and the cricketers expressed their elation over the same. England’s Natalie Sciver was one of them as she posted a picture with Suzie Bates and Dane van Niekerk and was extremely happy with the decision. The trio is currently playing in the ongoing Women’s Kia Super League T20 tournament.
