The 3rd game of the 2019 Oman Men’s CWC Challenge League B will be played between Bermuda and Hong Kong at the Al Amerat Cricket Ground Oman Cricket (Ministry Turf 2).
The match starts at 9:30 AM local time (5:30 AM GMT) (11:00 PM IST).
Hong Kong, who were due to host this tournament, lost the rights to Oman due to instability in the country. They will now be hoping to put some good performances putting and keep the thought of missing being the hosts. Their first match of the CWC Challenge will be against Bermuda on Tuesday. Hong Kong closely missed the chance of qualifying to the 2020 T20 World Cup despite the absence of big names. Almost a similar side will be up against Bermuda in the 50-over fixture. Bermuda failed to live up the hype around them during the T20 CWC Qualifiers where they lost all matches they played.
No threat from rain is expected for this match between Bermuda and Hong Kong and clear skies would be seen in Al Amerat on Tuesday.
The Ministry Turf 2 ground in Al Amerat has produced scores between 180 and 250 regularly. This venue has similar pitches as of Ministry Turf 1 ground. During the first match of the tournament played at the Turf 1 ground, the Jersey team won by 25 runs against Uganda while defending 248. A similar track is expected for the match to be played at Turf 2 on Tuesday. The second batting teams will have an edge while chasing anything below 220.
Average first innings score: 209 (Last 5 List A matches)

Dion Stovell has aggregated 1354 runs and also picked up 75 wickets across 80 matches he played for Bermuda in all forms. Kinchit Shah averages only 19.77 with the bat for Hong Kong in List A cricket. However, he took 18 wickets across 10 innings in this format with help of three 4-wicket hauls for his country. Captain and Vice-Captain Selection:
Captain – Kinchit Shah, Nizakat Khan, Delray Rawlins.
Vice-Captain – Dion Stovell, Aizaz Khan, Kamau Leverock.
Suggested Playing XI No.1 for Fantasy Cricket:
Keeper – Okera Bascome
Batters – Kamau Leverock, Ahsan Abbasi, Duente Darrell
All-Rounders – Nizakat Khan, Aizaz Khan, Kinchit Shah (C), Delray Rawlins (VC)
Bowlers – Ehsan Khan, Nasrulla Rana, Justin Pitcher
Suggested Playing XI No.2 for Fantasy Cricket:

All-Rounders – Nizakat Khan (VC), Aizaz Khan, Kinchit Shah, Dion Stovell

The all-rounders’ category is packed with the likes of Kinchit Shah, Nizakat Khan, Delray Rawlins, Aizaz Khan and Dion Stovell. The first four names are popular ones while Stovell has good numbers for Bermuda. Since only four players can be picked from this category, one of Rawlins and Nizakat can be excluded to pick Stovell. Rawlins doesn’t have great List A record while Nizakat isn’t a trustable option with the ball.
Hong Kong is expected to defeat Bermuda in this match.
