‘Their batting line-up is unreal’ – Rohit Sharma reveals MI’s team meetings last for around two hours to plan against RCB

Though the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) haven’t won a single IPL title yet but their batting line-up is as daunting as it can get. With the presence of the likes of Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers in the top four and add to it, some of the fierce domestic hitters, any opposition will be feared of facing them. And when the superstar duo click together, RCB has broken and created records.

Rohit Sharma and David Warner, on Friday, highlighted the same when they went live on Instagram. During the chat, they spoke about different aspects of the game and also the way the COVID-19 crisis has affected the sport. When it came to the IPL, the Aussie opener conceded that the RCB has been the strongest team over the last 10 years or so.

Agreeing to the same, the Mumbai Indians skipper, Rohit revealed that the team meeting goes on for more than two hours ahead of their match against the Virat Kohli-led side during the IPL. He also went on to say that the Bangalore has got the best batting line-up while also stating that MI plans for RCB more than any other side in the T20 tournament.

“Honestly speaking, we plan for RCB more than any other team because of their batting line-up. Their batting line-up is just unreal man. Our team meeting goes up to around couple of hours,” Rohit Sharma said during the conversation.

Rohit Sharma feels all teams are balanced now

Both Rohit and David Warner had a lot of fun during the live session as they reminisced playing against each other from their U19 days. The former also went on to mention that he cannot believe he got a hat-trick during the IPL 2009 for the Deccan Chargers given the fact that he doesn’t bowl at all nowadays.

Moreover, the MI skipper also pointed out that all the teams looked perfectly balanced going into the IPL 2020 after the auction and this would’ve been the closest had it gone ahead as scheduled. As of now, the tournament stands suspended until further notice and there is no idea on when cricket will resume in the country.
