Hampshire will tour Bristol for the T20 Blast game against Gloucestershire on Tuesday. This game will be part of the KSL-T20 Blast double-header at the County Ground. Western Storm will host Loughborough Lightning ahead of this fixture. Gloucestershire is currently placed at 5th in the South Group having won three and lost three including one on Sunday against Middlesex.
Their opponents Hampshire are even behind them as the James Vince-led side got out seven points from eight games. Their hat-trick of victories a few days ago has been preceded and succeeded by consecutive defeats. The recent most game was against Somerset which turned out to be a disaster for them. Hampshire crumbled to 69/6 before the rains stoppage while chasing Somerset’s total of 202/4 to win.
The South Group game in the Vitality T20 Blast 2019 will be played between Gloucestershire and Hampshire at the County Ground in Bristol.
The match starts at 6:30 PM local time (11:00 PM IST) (5:30 PM GMT).
This game will be live on Sky Sports in England and Fan Code app in India.
There are slightest of rain chances on Tuesday in Bristol but during the afternoon. The KSL game might be interrupted but the weather forecast suggests clear skies in the evening for the T20 Blast match.
The last five full 20-over matches in the T20 Blast here in Bristol had an average score of 165. However, the pitch in the recent games here has been on the slower side. Since the KSL game between Western Storm and Loughborough Lightning will be played on the same track, this game between Gloucester and Hampshire could well be a low-scoring affair.
