Thailand Women more or less sealed their top finish after their 4th win five matches in this Women’s Quadrangular T20I series. They are tied on eight points with Scotland Women but have a superior NRR due to the victory margins. Their lone defeat to the Scottish team came on the final ball of the game. They will now face the Netherlands Women in the last match of the competition.
Netherlands Women, the home team, failed to win even one game thus far. They have earned only one point after featuring in five matches thanks to a washout against Ireland. The Irish team posted their highest T20I total in that game and were set towards a huge win. The hosts will now have a chance of pushing Thailand down to No.2 but need a real special effort to make it happen.
The 12th match of the 2019 Women’s T20I Quadrangular Series (in the Netherlands) between Netherlands Women and Thailand Women will be hosted by the Sportpark Het Schootsveld in Deventer.
The match starts at 3:30 PM local time (1:30 PM GMT) (7:00 PM IST).
Last five completed T20I matches:
Netherlands Women: L, L, L, L, W.
Thailand Women: W, L, W, W, W.
These is a good chance of rain coming into the equation in the 2nd half of the run chase. The forecast suggests the probability of rain began to increase from 5:30 PM local time.
The teams batting first have won all the four completed matches in this tournament that were played in the afternoon. The scores tend to take a raise in the afternoon after the pitch gets settled down with the morning game. The chasing team could find it tough when the pitch tends to slow down.
